Every engagement is built around your project's stage and specific needs - from a focused single session to a fully custom, multi-month engagement. All modules start with a free Discovery Call.
30 min · Free
A free session to get an honest first read on your project. Book a slot, and one of Bluebox's international sales experts reviews your film - its stage, its strengths, and its goals - to map out where it stands today and where it could realistically go. You'll walk away with a clear, practical assessment: the paths your project could take toward the international market, and how to close the gap between where it is now and where it could be. Depending on your project, the session can also touch on: which festivals and markets are genuinely worth your time, and why; the kind of buyers, distributors, or platforms likely to respond to a film like yours; useful reference points from comparable titles; and general information on national distribution and financing routes worth exploring. There's no obligation - we'll talk through your needs and offer suggestions you're free to accept or not. If your project calls for something more specific, we can also put you in touch with one of our three specialist experts - Will, Tom, or Gilles - entirely at your discretion. It's a real, expert look at your project, not a sales pitch. If you want to go further afterward, the Deep Dive and Project Coaching modules build directly on this first analysis.

After our first discussion, Bluebox can accompany your film directly, hands-on, across every stage of the market. For projects that need to go further, two dedicated two-hour deep dives are also available: a sales and distribution session with Gilles; and an artificial intelligence session, covering both the technical and the creative AI needs of a project, with Tom and Will. Each of these can be booked on its own, or combined into a broader coaching engagement.
Custom - by quote
A fully custom engagement, built entirely around your specific requests. This is the hands-on work the Bluebox team does directly on your film: building a targeted festival list matched to your project and, where relevant, presenting the film ourselves to programmers we've worked with regularly for over twenty years - real relationships, not cold submissions - as well as handling international sales negotiations on your behalf and, where relevant, direct sales representation through Media Art. It can also include taking on the release of your film in key European territories (France, the Benelux, and Spain), marketing the film across the markets, and, for French releases, a theatrical release study, a release budget, and distribution planning for Paris and the regions. This engagement can run over several days, or extend into ongoing support throughout the life of your project - over several months or even years.

When a project needs specific expertise, Bluebox brings in a professional from its wider international network on a one-off basis: a producer, distributor, international sales agent, script consultant, festival specialist, or other expert. Fees are set according to the expertise and duration required.

"Selling a film internationally isn't about templates - it's about knowing exactly which door to knock on, and how to open it."
